I put on a lear XQ100 and my leaf springs are now flat.. Should I us a wheeler 1.5" add-a-leaf pack or 1.5" single leaf to gain my bed height again?

The three leaf like the icon I have will have more flex than the single. They are typically progressive so they get stiffer as they move through their range. The progressive packs tend to have a smoother ride than the singles too. You may also consider air bags. I might be adding those to my rig.

X2 on the airbags... I have a A.R.E. Z cap which cause a little sag on my 2012. I typically keep 12 to 15 PSI in the airbags which keeps the truck about 1/2 to 3/4 higher then stock depending on how much gas I have in the tank. I never installed a aal but I can say the airbags were very easy to install. It only took a few hours and some hand tools.

    Are you using firestones?

Yes...I like them a lot for towing and just everyday use. The truck rides better with them aired up. Just the only down side is to keep a steady PSI you need to check them every other week (I average a 1 PSI drop a month).

Did you use an AAL with the bags or just bags. Any other lift?

No aal...I have used them in the past on another Taco and did not like them. I would never use them again, in my opinion change the leaf pack before a aal...

Rocking a wheelers single 2in aal and love it. You will get much more load handling with a single vs a progressive.

I've owned both. The progressive AAL gives a noticeably better ride than the single AAL.

Well Finally bit the bullet and installed the firestone ride-rites. Awesome not have the original height back. I may reroute the air lines to the harnesses on the bed to get them away from the frame. Very happy, 10 lbs air gave me 1.5 inches back in rear height. Thanks for recommending them.

The truck looks great! I use about 12 PSI daily and about 15 to 17 when I tow but haven't measured the lift amounts.

If you plan to go AAL at all the mini pack progressive is the way to go. I installed one in my 12 a long time ago with its original 4 pack TSB leafs to make a total of 7. Have wheeled the piss out of it since and it's still as springy as the day I installed them. Not to mention it's a very smooth ride. I could hardly tell a change with them installed and with them not, though I think some of that had to do with the valving of the Fox RR shocks I installed in conjunction with them.

Did you install shock to your truck as well?
