Anyone ever lift their Tacoma and then get bigger tires a few months later?

Might look funny and you'll have to get two alignments. Atleast I would, 1 for the lift next for the added tires

Plenty of people do their lifts and then get tires later. im still waiting to get tires after doing my lift a few months ago.

Only extra thing might be an additional alignment cost depending where you go. I know the tire place by me if they install the tires an alignment is included

You can, I've seen it done before. Doesn't look too bad.

I may be wrong on this, but I believe you will need to get wheel spacers after you lift your truck if you want to keep the stock wheels. This of course will depend on how high you go. It's my understanding that the wheel spacers are needed for a 3"+ lift. You didn't mention wheels, and it looks like you have the stock OR wheels so that is something you will want to look into.

As for the tires, at stock height I am running 265/75/16 and I don't think they would look bad with a 3" lift. I think if you are close to that size and have a somewhat aggressive tire it won't be too bad, but like Peter said, you will need the two alignments.

That's what I did and I still have 8000 miles or so left on my tires before I can get my 35's

It is actually smart to wait at least a week between lift and tires. If you do it all at once it is hard to pinpoint any vibes or other problems that can sometimes pop up. If you do lift first and then when you happy with it add the tires.
