    Rust and corrosion are not the same thing. Aluminum will corrode terribly in certain environments. Salty, wet, dirty roads will do serious damage to aluminum. I think most people expect to put on aftermarket adjustable coilovers and forget about them like they do with the factory coilovers. That's not going to go well. You have to keep these things clean. In the NE I would probably try to, at least, hose them off weekly with fresh water.
