they are the Michelin AT2, a stock tire for Mikes Furd. I have a set of Grabber At2's on my Taco. They are both severe snow rated IIRC. I've been very pleased with my grabbers the past few storms.

If you don't care as much about looks take a look at either the Michelin AT2, or the Michelin MS2. The MS2 is a bad ass tire for winter conditions. Has a shitload of siping. I had them when I got my truck and they were an awesome winter tire, better than the duratracs I had before the Grabbers I have now. At least for the conditions we normally see here in New England in the winter.

Everything this guy said! Have the ST MAXX on mine and driving on plowed roads/ice isn't great. The do fine once you're moving but getting going isn't great. Last night, I drove through foot high snow drifts and in 2wd powered right through them! The road had about 4-6" on it and I never had any issues the whole way home

I had AT3 on my Titan and they were awful in the snow. Compacted, slush, deep, it didn't matter. Previous owner put them on and had about 3k miles on them when I got the truck.

I'm shopping tires now to replace the Fails. Still haven't decided.

Any chance you can get them changed for the AT/W's? Still cooper, just better snow traction.

Seth is correct, the Michelin AT2, not General Grabber. The Michelins are awesome in the snow.

This the Above will out perform the AT3 in snow as the AT/w is snow rated, I never had an issue with my ole AT3's in snow, I thought they did a good job, I currently have the ST MAXX on and I siped all of them for better winter. Traction, I think it's helping,So far in snow they are working good ,they grip like crazy when coming to a stop in snow, they still spin up when taking off from a stop in 2wd but nothing out the ordinary... If ya want good good performance I. Winter a dedicated snow tire is the way to go... Lots of good winter tires out there...

I'd look into getting the siped first. May be worth it. Unless u can trade them in at no cost.

pudge151 you put seat heaters in your Tacoma front and back correct? Would you be interested in a little side coin to do mine?

Get some some proper winter tires mounted and balanced on some steelies for the snow season.
