I'm not in a good position to advise because more than anything else I hate to pay the banks for using someone else’s money that’s not even theirs. I paid cash for my 2011 and paid cash for my house and the 80 acres I live on. The first house I bought in 1976 I paid off the 30 year mortgage in less than 10 years with every bit of free cash I could get my hands on sold it for a huge profit and have never looked back bought and sold houses ever since. If you own it they can’t come and reposes it think about a broken leg and not being able to work for a couple of months no problem you all ready own the truck and it will be there when you can drive again. Live debt free it is a good feeling and so unusual these days.

If it's choice between paying the truck off or mods, pay the truck off first. There is never free money.....
