Hey yall, in the attempt to determine if my 2013 tacoma base access cab is fog light prewired, I found this flat white plug. Can someone identify it for me?

I don't believe that is the connector for the fog lights. Look on eBay at the OEM fog light switches, totally different pin layout.

That is the location for the power mirror switch. The fog light is typically located above that (left blank I believe).

    I concur.

I doubt your truck is prewired. My 2012 SR5 was not.

Disappointing, does anyone know exactly what that switch is then? Yes, I thought it was maybe the power mirror plug. Thanks for the help all!

My 2010 Base was pre-wired. I popped the blank out and the plug was on the back.

Can't tell from the pic, but is that the correct location?

if you need an OEM Fog Light Switch, i got one. but i don't have a plug that goes to it. Since you're not pre-wired for fogs, you might want to look for one. Unless you're going to put in you're own SPST switch.

Wiring up fog lights is a cinch. OEM fog bulbs require H10 connectors. you can get those wire connectors on ebay for less than $15.

My O7 wasn't prewired, which I liked because they stayed on even on High beams. Its a shame because on Chevy all trucks get the same harness, but on Jap cars they actually go through the trouble of making different harnesses for different models, as with wifes Outback. (guess they don't want you to be able to add the stuff cheaper than factory can charge you)
