Okay, so I avoided spacers and went with 5100s up front with 885x coils. Got them on this past weekend and now I'm thinking some AALs are in the near future to compensate for saggy stock rear leafs.

    What do you guys think?

Here's before and after. Got 2.5" out of the new setup

Put 3"spacers on in January as a cheap lift. Got damn what was I thinking! The ride is dog shit, 95% asphalt driving with 5% camping trail driving in the summer. I want an actual lift bad but the wife refuses to let's spend the money

I want to thank all you guys for all of your posts on what to do and most important on what not to do. I bought a 2007 Db Cb and the spent the next three days on this site reading the pros and con's of spacers. Twelve days after I bought it I put 5100's all around. Thanks TW

Well, go ahead and add my name to the list. Started off with spacers which I installed this past weekend and they...aren't for me. So lesson learned. Ordered front and rear 5100s, OME 884 coils, and a Wheeler progressive 1.5" add-a-leaf for my TSB springs to install this weekend. If that doesn't fix it, I'm trading this thing in for a Raptor lol.

Actually just decided to pull the trigger today on a coilover setup to replace the daystar leveling spacers that were on the truck when I bought it a couple weeks ago. I love the look of my truck but it rides ROUGH! Still trying to decide between OME/Dracar or Billy 5100/ AAL(Or Toyota/Eibach springs) 80 % Hwy the rest dirt roads camping and kayak hauling. Looks like I'll finally going to have to bite the bullet and get a credit card .

6" lift (BDS) with top spacers here. Can't stand them. Want the fox coilovers but they are so damn expensive. I'm now afraid of what damage/wear I may have caused in the front suspension. Ball joints, TREs probably have twice the wear they should at their mileage. Handles and rides like poop.

I didn't read all post but I bet I can win dumbass award. My T-Force came with billy 5100's up front set at 0. Instead of just adjusting my shocks to level I got the eBay crap for 3" front and 1.5" rear. Then I got the toytec 3" springs installed and only got like 1" on 0 on the 5100s so I went to the third notch to get my lift back. Next step is 2" leafs. Hopefully I'll be done.

I put a revtex 3 inch front 1.25 inch leveling kit in my 2015 Tacoma. I love it and the ride is amazing. If I wanted to do it the "correct way" what should I do or where should I go to buy it.

Well fellas. I think I made a mistake.
I am new to TW and Toyota tacomas. I got my 2015 dcsb in April and wanted a little more of a lifted look.
Didn't have the money for a proper suspension lift.
So I bought the leveling kit on Amazon thinking since it doesn't change the stock components it should still ride ok and just look a little higher. I have not yet installed this as it arrives today. I have been reading threads here and other forums and they say I should not even open the box and send it right back for a refund. What is the opinions here?? I guess I can't qualify for the list as it hasn't actually been installed.
Thanks for the help in advance

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
You didn't make a mistake. You just had a lack of knowledge when you found them.

Are you going to wheel your truck? Are you going to be doing a lot of bumpy roads? Is this truck going to be more of a highway and on-road truck than off? If you answered "occasionally, occasionally, and yes," then the spacer lift will be fine for you. Yes, you will notice a bit more "bounce" and stiffness, but you won't be jarred out of the roof.

Now, if you want to get your money back, go for it and save up for some 5100's and an AAL in the rear. That will be a better option for you in the long run.
