Well I did it - it was a spur of the moment decision but I'm happier than ever. Got myself a 2012 SR5. It's pretty bare bones but has most of the things I wanted in a truck. Coming from my '89 Toyota Pickup (had it for 10 years) the fact that it has power windows, air conditioning and that crazy backup camera is a huge time-warp of improvements.

I opted to get the Rockledge alarm from the dealer as my neighborhood can be a little tumultuous for vehicles. It has an annoying feature which I have done research on and can't figure out how to opt-out of it. It automatically locks after 1 minute, and I am convinced that I am going to lock my keys in there one day. It's bound to happen. Is there any way to shut this off??
