I just purchased a new 6' bed Tacoma.
I am looking at the Toyota offered Tri fold tonneau.
The dealer only has one picture, the obscure only shows it closed.
    The part number is 00016-35821

    Does anyone own one?
    Do you like it?
Can you open it without opening the tailgate?
Will it open from the cab end too?

    Got pics?

Honestly, stay away from the one Toyota offers. A friend had one on his '12 DCSB and is was junk. Hard to keep closed and rattled like crazy. If your looking for a tri-fold, I'd recommend a G2 Bakflip or an Undercover flex.

If you have the funds, a Retrax Pro is my favorite right now. But it is pricey.

I like the Retrax too I hade the Pace Edwards on a F150 and still have a custom built Pace Edwards on a F350 wide utility body.
Great access but not watertight at all, if your stuff can get wet they are fine, but the let water in down the sides, especially when they are a few years old.

I can get the Toyota one mentioned in my first post for 699.
No one has had luck with it?

I'm getting ready to pick up a Tonnopro hard trifold myself.
