    Desired Tire Size = 265/75/r16

Trying to locate some tires with a P rating or at LT(6ply rating maximum). Don't want an E rated.

Going for two sets of 4.

Do they make Blizzacks in P rating or 6 ply in that size? Americas tire and cosco say no.

Do they make Michelin LTX A/T2 in P rating or 6 ply in that size?

I have this feeling if I drop tire height to a 265/70/r16 many more tires are available in p and 6 ply rating.

Anyone have luck with P or 6 ply rating on 265/75/R16?

    Thanks,

running P265/75R16 Hankook dynapro atm rf10's here. More agressive and better in the dirt than MS2's i have ran in the past, quieter than duratrac's (and lighter) and better overall than the LTX A/T2

and price is GREAT. got my set for 660 out the door mounted balanced AND with full road hazzard warranty.

I know they make a Duratrac 265/75R16 in a load range C (comparable to P rated) but they are a heavier more agressive tire

There is also the Goodyear wrangler all terrain adventure w/ kevlar (jezus thats a mouthful) in a P/Load range C 265/75R16 .... i opted to go hankook rf10 over this due to weight (3lbs less per tire)

Hankook Dynapros here. Great tire. Quiet, inexpensive, good wear, fantastic off road, and one of the lighter tires you can get.

i have these in P rating. very comfy tire for the road. haven't been really offroad with them. not that great in deep snow, but not terrible. overall i'd give them an 8.5/10 and would recommend.

Not sure why, but the mfgs seem to bump up to LT in D and higher ratings when you go to a 75 series tire. I was able to find 70 series 17's for my Tundra, but 75 series 16's seem to trigger a "heavy duty truck tire" scenario. There are a few 75 series P and C tires out there, but they seem to be few and far between. If you find some you like, post up a review!

My BFG AT that are 17" are 10 ply, maybe check into them.

Next time around this is exactly what I'm going for too but there aren't too many choices. Get into a 10 ply and mileage and ride go down. But not a bunch out there in this size otherwise. I'm probably going to go with the Hankook's myself. A friend just put a set on his 4Runner and loves them. I have Grabber ATS's on my truck now. Can't believe I let myself get talked into those by my tire rack rep. Nice and quiet on the highway but they wear fast and suck in the snow. At least they were cheap.

My Toyo wintercat 265/ 75/ 16s are C rated. They are great in all conditions and not too stiff. Plenty durable too. I air them down to 25psi when offroading conditions get a little Western and they stick like glue to everything. I've gotten many a flat on P rated tires, but rarely on 6 ply for my uses.

I always go to Les Schwab for tires. My local shop takes great care of me.

They make michelin ms2 and at2 in p265/75r16

Blizzak only makes 10 ply in 265/75r16.

All tire manufacturers have websites and list their tire sizes and specs there. Are you looking for a set of summers and winters? The MS2's do very good in winter (ice) for an all season tire.
