It's the combination of new truck suspension and sidewall height of a shitty tire on a 17" wheel. I test drove sr5 and a sport, both double cabs, and the sr5 drove like a 78 Cadillac. The sport was stiff.

this is why I prefer 16" wheels and as much rubber as possible between truck and road. I am not a fan of the trend to bigger wheels. More rubber is also better off road.

My OR on stock suspension and Blizzaks runs pretty smooth over rough roads

I traded in a WRX in December for the taco. I test drove many tacos and even went off road in a few during the test drive. All of them felt like airbag suspension compared to the WRX but some rode worse than other. TRD Sport seemed to be easier on the '15's but the '13's TRD Sport were harsher.

Square head hose clamp tail gate protector. Bed mat. Cargo divider. Shell. De-badged and de-stickered.
The truck came with Bridgestone Dueler HT684II size 265/65/17. Certainly not the best tire in it's class but until I wear them out they will do.
