where/how did you guys mount your winch control solenoid box?

    Like the title says I want to put the solenoid under the hood but not sure how. The bracket that come with the winch won't work. But I'm not sure if a hardware store L bracket will hold up. That little box is heavy. Thanks. Any pics would be appreciated too.

    I made a new bracket using some 11 gauge steel and bolted it to the wheel well, then extended the wiring. Hasn't moved in 3 years like this.
