Its definatly not a bad lift. Good price and a good reputation on this site. I have the add a leaf on mine and aside from a slight squeak i have no complains.

5100's all 4 corner.... front set at 1.75, with stock coils and a wheelers 1.5 or 2in single leaf AAL and you will be more than happy and it wont break the bank.

I would not use the stock shocks in any way shape or form with any sort of lift coil or AAL.

The first thing you have to decide is exactly what you want when you say 'just for looks.'

If you ever decide you want to take it off-road and do anything other than get towed out of the woods by your friends or your girlfriend's GMC Acadia ... then you should definitely put some better gear on your truck.

If you are just going to be burning gas doing laps around the Mall on Saturday night, picking up some of those golf-community girls who wear pink Browning/Realtree Jackets ... then go ahead and save your money by putting a cheaper option on your truck.

Personally, I prefer functionality over looks so I went with some 2.5 Icon Adjustable Shocks, stiff Icon springs, and Total Chaos control arms. All of this because I wanted to go punch some trails in the 'nads.

This cost me a lot, but I'm super proud of it... not because my truck sits higher than stock, but because I can do overland stuff in it.

I think after doing some searching around for best prices i ended up at ~400-450

same ones for all 2005+ 6 lug tacomas.
