So I know a lot of you are good at doing your own wiring and such and like aftermarket switches. I am choosing to add Hella's to my behind the grill mod. But want to use an OEM switch in the truck next to the other OEM switch. So I had and OEM insert made with the 3 wires coming out to go to the Hella's it is a plug and play insert no mod needed. Pics in a minute.

I like how clean and OEM it is of a solution. so you will have two switches that are aesthetically the same now? interested to see it installed and perhaps ideally etch or sand smooth or wipe the existing graphic off, and get your own logo cut and apply to the switch for a truly interesting one-off better illustration of its purpose. eh? I'm sure we have to be able to buy switch blanks off of a Nissan electronics parts store somewhere.

I had an OEM fog light switch running aftermarket lights. The only issue I came across was the inserts themselves are different so you have to shave the dash so it'll fit. The fog light switch has grooves so it only fits nicely into one location to the left of the steering wheel. A few minutes with a file or dremel is required to make it fit into one of the other spots. I believe the FJ Cruiser has a 'driving light' switch that is the same size as the fog light switch also. Another option is OTRATTW switches which can be etched to say just about anything.

So the blank next to my OEM fog light switch won't fit another exact same switch without modification
