Well bad luck and good I guess. 2014DCSB with under 4700 miles on it.

Bad luck = Someone bashed in the brake light cover on the passenger side.

Good luck = I did not catch them and get myself in trouble kicking their ass.

Does anyone see a problem with this one or know of a better one to get for a match.

Where do you put the silicon? Cause I LOVE the look of those lights! Are they just as good as OEM? Brightness wise.

I never put any sealant on mine and I don't have any issues with moisture. :)

They are just as bright as OEM as far as I can tell.

That silicone is pretty good stuff. Clear RTV is what you want.

I didn't (and still don't) see a need to seal mine up since they are already "sealed" by the manufacturing process, but I can't see where it would hurt anything if you wanted to apply some silicone to the areas you circled.

Same here, Mine's been on the truck for about a year and yet to see any reason to put silicone on it. Countless pressure washer at the taillights with no issue of moisture getting inside. It's plug and play. BTW I got the Depo brand.

well I'll try em without siliconing them up first and if I need to I can.
If I do, this is the right stuff, right?

Another positive experience with the Depo blacked out tail lights. Near OEM quality and look great.

Yes. Anything that says silicone RTV, clear, black, white etc. will seal and remain flexible.

If they end up getting moisture in them, I can just take the bulbs out, put a bag or two of desecant in them, until the moisture is gone, then seal them up with the silicone, right?

    Some stuff...
X4 on these tails. I've had mine in for a year now with no issues out-of-the-box.

I want those black depo tails bad. With BHLM to match. Pure sects IMO.

I ordered a set off of eBay last Saturday from a seller (westcoastlighting) who had 2 sets left in stock. The fackers took my money, then waited until today to tell me that they are backordered to 28/02. PayPal already grabbed my money, and so did the Global Shipping program (Pitney Bowes Inc.)

What really pisses me off is that they did not contact me through messaging. Somehow they used my email. They offered to cancel the order, but that would take 72 hours. WTF?

And to top it off, they used another seller ID to inform me (movementauto).

    DO NOT DEAL WITH:

westcoastlighting (who were supposed to have 2 sets in stock)

    or

movementauto (who were supposed to have 4 sets in stock)

The ads were up until earlier tonight, but disappeared when I responded to their fackup and told them to cancel the order.

Thank heavens I paid through PayPal, but my money is going to be tied up, and I too have a broken tail light.
