Besides the shocks, are there any spring differences between the stock
    SR5s and the TRD Sport?

How much ride quality difference is there between the two buzzing down the freeway?

I had a 2005 3/4 ton dodge that was horrible to drive unloaded on the Cal freeway.

I am just trying to understand how they compare from you owners.

I've never had an SR5 PreRunner just TRD Sports but I think that the sway bars are different than the OR and the Sport has lower profile tires on 17" rims which can harshen up things a bit also.
I'm currently driving my 2015 around without a shell until my new one comes in and though it is not unpleasant it is much better ride with a shell on from my 2010 Tacoma.
