I've never figured my MPG's in the Tacoma. I have no idea how many miles I get on a tank, or how many miles per gallon. I also don't track gas prices. I'd be lucky to guess within 50 cents of current prices per gallon. I fill up when I need to, and I drive where I need/want to. I also don't look at the price/kw on my electric bill. I use what I need, but I don't go wasting. To figure it up would do nothing but cause stress.

I remember friends who would drive across a town to get gas for 3 cents cheaper per gallon. So if they had a 20 gal tank that was bone dry, they saved 60 cents total. I wouldn't drive a mile to save 60 cents, yet they felt like they were getting a DEAL by traveling 3 miles or more for the price.

Fill the truck up every Sunday since I hate buying gas during the week. Not too concerned with mileage since I drive a truck. I track it for fun and to monitor for problems.

Well, if you converted to wood power you could measure it in MPCs (Miles Per Cord) :D

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
It doesn't matter to me. It is what it is. If I'm driving anywhere too far away and I don't need 4x4 I drive the Honda.

aires 3D mats, scan gauge II, rear differential breather relocation, and bakflip G2 bed cover.
I just bought a 2015 double cab 4x4. Driving 55 on Interstate gets me 27mpg. I average 22mpg, but I drive for gas milage. I'm retired and not in a hurry.

Honestly, my wife and I work very close to each other so we carpool. This means I only drive the Tacoma for fun or a Home Depot run. So I really don't care about gas mileage. Back when I wasn't carpooling with my wife (even before the Tacoma, I've always had cars or trucks that didn't get great mileage) I was lucky enough to have a commuter car. I had a beater Ford Focus for a long time, then bought a Honda CR-Z (it reminded me of my old CR-X which I loved).

    My CR-Z:
