Thud on my '14.....

    hey all not looking for answers but will take your 2 cents just wanted to record the issue im having on my 14 dclb sport.... just hit 11k miles been doing alot of driving and there is snow and ice EVERYWHERE. well im experiencing a nasty clunk in the front end... did some reading and researching and im thinking its the sway bar, links, bushings whatever.... some guys say look for chunks of ice in the suspension or check spare.... how could it be anything else! it is a new D**n truck! didnt have this issue on my lifted 07....

    Take it to the dealer, try to replicate the clunk with the service tech in the passenger seat. If you don't want to mess with the dealer, take the sway bar off and try to replicate it. Removing the sway bar takes about 5 minutes.

    yeah its super easy to take off just dont want to lay in all the snow and ice in my driveway to check it hahah

    Run it to the dealer, just make sure you can replicate the noise / thud beforehand.

    im having this problem. My truck is warming up in the garage right now. Id do the same if I were you.

    Had the same thing happen to me with about 6K miles on the truck. Turned out to be the sway bar links. I pulled the sway bar for about a week to isolate the noise. Ended up replacing the links and haven't had a problem since.

    GOOD TO KNOW.... thanks for that hahaha i want to put the truck in the garage but ive got lawn mowing equipment and dirtbikes that take up all the space..... hahaha

    so the thud hasnt replicated sense the temperature has gone above the teens.... guess i wont be visiting the stealership!
