Anyone drive both? Sounds like the PRO has different valving and spring rates, curious how it compares to the Baja.

I have the Baja suspension and for the most part love it. You feel all the little bumps on the street but it's never painful...firm I would call it. But it helps a lot with street handling and it shines in the dirt when going fast, over relatively flat ground that has lots of undulations.

Where it falls little short is bigger rocks, cracks, slow going over rocks, etc. Wondering if the Pro handles as well on the street or if there is a lot more induced body roll.

I have a Pro and drove about 20 miles in a 14 Baja before getting the Pro. Front end is definitely more compliant in the Pro...mainly noticed it is less harsh on things like freeway expansion joints etc. Not much time in a Baja so not much too compare, though definitely better on the pro in my opinion. Then again, I notice a big difference running 35psi in the AT's where some folks on here see no difference between 35 or 45psi, so it is a matter of preference. Never had the Baja off road so can't speak to that.

Is it possible that the Baja had higher tire pressure than your Pro? The Baja and Pro both use Bilstien 5100s.

They do not use 5100's, anywhere. Not even once.

TRD Pro and Baja Bilstein suspension are way better than Bilstein 5100s.

TRD Pro and Baja suspension are comparable to Bilstein 6112.

So do they use revalved 6112s or a unique shock only available from Toyota?

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
The 6112 is more like the re-valved aftermarket version. At least for the taco and tundra.

The fronts in the Baja and Pro are the same body, slightly different valving between the two from what I understand.

The rears are 5160 with specific valving for the Tacoma/4runner whatever its on. I am not sure if the taco and runner are the same.. Probably.

Yes the shocks are a wear item and not covered under warranty. But the lift is factory and any problems caused with front diff etc etc Toyota can never say hey that's your lift's fault.

The Baja setup is expensive but man I love it! Sure there are other options, but its all choices pick what you want!

They sure can. But then you argue the advertising and stuff.

    Never a sure bet.

Could get it cheaper, but you could get a fake hood scoop cheaper than the sport, or aftermarket wheels cheaper than the OEM wheels, or navigation cheaper than OEM etc etc.
