Said my last goodbye to the Taco today. Met the new owner at his local credit union and finalized everything.

Gonna miss that truck. Will probably pick up the 3rd gen in a few years, but for now I had to let her go. New job with a 90 mile each way commute or a lot of travel, having a truck for a second vehicle isn't practical for me.

I'll probably hang around and check in from time to time. Thanks everyone for all the help!

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Everyone needs a truck, even if it sits in the driveway a lot. Best of luck!

Well, my parents have a truck that I can use anytime...except I literally just ran into a situation where both my dad and I want the truck...not 12 hours after I handed the keys off.

    That's life I guess lol

I wouldn't be surprised if a 3rd gen with a 4 cylinder gets similar mileage to that G35. I have a few coworkers with 350/370z's and one with a G35 and they have all said they are terrible on fuel. I drive 90 miles a day round trip to work and have for 15 years. In the winter all I drive is my tacoma. Sure it costs a little more in fuel and the car I primarily drive in the summer only gets 25mpg at best. But they aren't dull boring econoboxes that suck the will to live out of me either. I drove a prius as a dealer loaner for 3 days last fall when toyota was doing their "anti-corrosive coating" deal to my tacoma. I have never hated a vehicle more...
