    Good Morning TW!

I'm getting some 5100s put on the front of my truck and called the local shop and got a quote for time to put them on. They quoted me 3.5hrs + an alignment. After reading on here, I find that that amount of time seems ridiculously steep. What are your thoughts on the subject?

Definitely seems like a stretch for a mechanic with all the tools at their disposal.

Yeah they just look in a computer and it spits out an estimate. Pretty inflated IMO. I called my trustworthy shop and he told me about 3hrs. Still seems a bit steep, but I know he'll only charge me for the actual time taken. The other places were generic brand spots and I know they're gonna charge the full amount and make some money off of me so no thanks!
