    Another option would be to invest in a scan gauge which will both allow you to clear the code and exit limp mode and also tell you what code is being thrown so you will have an idea of what is causing the issue. My Infiniti G35 did limp mode once...researched it a lot and finally saw a post from an Infiniti tec that simply said "before you going chasing after a bunch of things and changing parts, do a reset of the codes" His explanation was that many times it is simply the computer glitching (Think Microsoft Blue Screen on your computer). If it trips once in a long while, don't worry about it...if it is a real problem, you will reset and it will go right back in to limp mode...then get things checked out. Infiniti did limp mode twice in 10 years and was reset both times....nothing was messed with.
