Add eFan to trans aux cooler?

I'm still in the warranty period so I'm trying to avoid modifying anything major on my 2015 TRD OR, but I want to make sure the transmission lasts as long as the engine. My last truck had an early death when the transmission started failing due to heat related degradation, despite regular fluid changes.

Since the "tow package" cooler on these trucks isn't all that large, it seems like I could maybe wire in an electric fan with a sensor so it kicks on when rock crawling or stuck in a traffic jam when it's 100*F out.

When I'm out of the warranty period I'll upgrade the radiator itself to something larger or plumb in another one in series.

Has anyone had any luck adding a fan?

I don't really think it is necessary unless you are pulling heavy loads a lot. Just crawling around the trans temps shouldn't get that hot. The transmissions on this truck are overbuilt for the application. They were originally designed to go behind the old tundra's v8.
