Best Fitting Black Wheels, 2014 TRD OR

Suggestions?

 

Will fit without modification due to scrubbing and accommodate stock BFG 265/70/16

Just paint your stock wheels black, they all look like steelies from more than a few feet away anyway

 

FJ Trail Teams, or TRD beadlocks IMO.

Good choice, me too! Currently I have FJ steelies on for the winter, which I really like too.

 

I just put some Pro Comp 7089s on my Tacoma last week...love the look of them!

 

I put these on last week. 17x8 Konig 6 shooters

 

Where did y'all buy the FJ's from? Have seen and really like the FJ Trail Teams, found one set on eBay for $499, another from TRD4u out of Dallas for $680, who claim they are from Toyota. Not sure about the first set. Would you trust the ones on eBay? Also, would they accommodate the stock sensors? Thoughts appreciated.

The ebays are aftermarket/replica. Which doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong with them, they just aren't original OEM. And usually those cheaper ebay sets do not come with TRD center caps.

I was thinking about purchasing from Trdparts4u as well and that is a good price. Seems a bit on the low side though. If I had to guess these are probably aftermarket. Or they are original silver trail team rims that have been painted black.

Sub'd...would love to hear some feedback from anyone who's ordered these from TRDparts4U

 

I was gonna buy a set of these or the countersteers for my 16. What's the bore size on these? Perfect fit?

 

I got a set of the black TT's from Earnhardt Toyota in Arizona for around that price about 3 years ago. Came with center caps and new lugs. Have held up very well even with some moderate abuse. I would recommend them. Ha, sorry just saw date on the original post.

 

Can't go with some matt black SR8s from @SCSPerformance

 

Dave suggests khaki wheels only, but they're hideous.

 

I just spoke to Dave and he said he has some special coupons.

 

I heard on Priusnation that he's got 'dem 24"s in black on 'da cheap....
