I was leaving a parking lot and there was a pothole near the exit. it was filled with water so i couldnt tell how deep it was. When i went over it, i heard a scrape Up front. i looked and i dont see anything. Was this just the skidplate? Im just paranoid about my truck Getting damaged. these situations are what the skidplates for right?

crawl under your truck and figure out what hit. you should be able to see marks if it did any damage

OMG! You scraped the underside of your truck!! Better call Toyota and have them parachute in their emergency techs. "Oh, the humanity" (look up the reference on google).

If u hit ur skid plate it would have been a pretty deep pothole and been really rough. I bet mudflap also.

Don't count on the factory skid for much protection, but it was mudflap.
