Hello interwebs, Wang Lo Industries will be attempting the first ever ISF swap into a 07 Toyota Tacoma. No reason behind the build aside from the fact that we just happened to have an full ISF motor, trans, harness, etc. kicking around a shop. And broken 4 banger tacoma.

We'll try our best to document the build incase someone is as crazy as us and would like to attempt the swap. Enough with the speal, here are some pics of our progress so far.

Tacoma stripped down to it's bare bones

We're actually very suprised how well this motor fits in the truck. The motor mounts are scary close to the factory location. The plan is modify the factory mounts with some bracing utilizing the factory rubber mounts. The transmission looks like it needs a custom mount fabbed up, but that should be too big of an issue. Nonetheless, the motor clears the subframe, sway bar, steering rack, etc. It's like a match made in heaven. ANyways thats all the progress we've made today, we'll keep you in the loop with new updates when they come.

Are you going to have a custom harness made?

Yeah, it's nice to see a build that isn't just another pokey "supercharge the 4.0" deal.

I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
And they said you can not fit V8 into Tacoma.

5.7 is slightly bigger so I am guessing with slight mod it would fit too.
    Awesome:D
