    My elbow constantly opens the center console upon entry and I hate it. Anyone come up with a solution? I would love a front opening unit.

    235/6ft mine opens when i put the seat belt on about 40% of the time.its going to take a lot more then that to make it an issue for me

    I literally spilled a little coffee reading this thread...
    OP, without creating a locking lid on your own (not sure if there's one aftermarket) I'd say that whatever you are doing when your elbow hits the latch needs to be addressed. Maybe you could create a magnetic latch like a kitchen cabinet has and then render the OEM latch inoperable either by removal of a part or worse, breaking off something. That would require pulling up the lid to open it which hopefully you're not moving your arm upward with enough force to make it pop open that way... Otherwise, I'm a small guy- 5'7" and I've never hit the latch whether getting in, moving around, buckling up, etc. My truck is 9 yrs old. Good luck with the lid and the flaming. :bananadead:
