Just traded my 09 TRD Sport DBL Cab LB 4x4 for an IDENTICALLY packaged 2015 with the Bongiovi Acoustics DPS (I think this is a Toyota CANADA only option)

So the guts and heart are the same BUT the Blutooth makes life so much easier with the phone and managing music. BLUTOOTH BLUTOOTH I love it.

The Bongiovi Acoustics DPS is STUNNING. I've been listening to the stock JBL in my 09 for SIX LONG YEARS.. Yes I could have upgraded it but it would have cost at least 1k to make it worthwhile. The Bongiovi is awesome. It sounds like a several thousand $$$ upgrade. Music is clearer and highs and lows actually exist. Plus it really adjusts to wind noise. Money very well spent.

A few little things I noticed that are different and better.

    -More comfortable steering wheel.

-Two overhead sunglass holders instead of one...Nice touch

    -Better antenna

    -Insturment cluster looks better.

On the fence about the more chiseled grill. Whole thing looks cheaper than my 09

So yah...its the same truck with prettier lipstick.

I'm also ashamed to admit I got the step rails this time.

On Monday my 32" Toyo AT2's on AR Mojave's go on along with Toytec front coils and Deaver add a leafs which give the truck a few extra inches of clearance.

Anyone know how this affects warrenty?

    Pics next week:playball:

    Very nice!
Any suspension/steering warranty issues will be considered and decided by the shop that does the work. Some shops will try and trace a transfer case leak back to the aal you added and some will change out the noisy ball joint without question.
    Enjoy!

Wearing the seatbelt is a great way to turn that chime off. :)

    Nice. Congrats.

Not sure why the Bluetooth is such an issue. I bought a $30 Bluetooth connector that is great

I noticed the same thing swapping my '11 for a 2013.

Truck seems way better in every way, a lot tighter, better brakes, more responsive steering. A whole new truck.

Some customers that come into our dealership have just the "clip" portion of another seat belt that they probably bought off ebay or something. It's clipped into the receiver just like a seat belt normally is but minus the whole belt portion.

    My Life My Choice.;)

I might have to buy just the clip from a junkyard. Going to try the trick a few more times first....

Forgot...The backup camera also looks much better in the large display.

And to the guy who bought a $30 Blutooth connector....tried that on my 09...The integrated with touchscreen and voice etc is just much better.

I traded my '11 6speed, best decision I've ever made.

Auto is faster, quieter, and so far I'm averaging 3mpg better.

Traded my 06 for a 13. Identical package and colour and everything. I was equally impressed. Maybe more so because I like the ATRAC and LSD system. Factory Bluetooth is the best.

Congrats on the new truck! I asked about the Bongiovi when I bought my 2013 but the salesman was completely clueless. Nice to hear you're happy with it.

Two weeks ago I traded my '07 for a '15 TRD O/R. I'm loving it so far. It's my first automatic too. I'm very happy with the decision.

It's a simple install and well worth it if you haven't upgraded yourself. Much cheaper and sounds like a high end system

No, no, no. Wearing your seat belt makes the ECU fail sooner.

Listen to this guy... He knows...

aires 3D mats, scan gauge II, rear differential breather relocation, and bakflip G2 bed cover.
Loving my 2015 Off Road. Traded in a Limited tundra crewmax. Crewmax was just too damn big for a daily driver. You need a step ladder to be able to reach into the bed, it takes up the whole carport and putting it in a parking space. 4 wheel disc brakes on the Tundra were alot better. I download the free bonjiovi app on my iphone and could not believe the difference. Wish I had it in my new Tacoma

If you use the truck say around a farm or something where you're in and out a lot without getting on a public road, the seat belt chime is obnoxious.

I had it disabled on my 2007 and still wore my seat belt any time I got on a public road. I don't need that ding to remind me.
