Talking How to remove mud flaps my version

Just thought i would show how i removed my flaps. First you need a flat screw driver and a 10mm socket

Then take the screw driver and slip it in between the button and back (they are a push lock) yours should look like this

Then pull them out

Then remove the three 10 mm bolts

That's all there is to it, you may have a mark left by the flap but it will wax out.

Just thought i would share

Great job! Thanks for the post. I wish this was up when I took mine off. I broke all the little black peices before I realized that I was supposed to do that other thing. oh well.

The truck looks better with them off!

Read my mind, exactly what I wanted to know.

I want to take them off for trimming, then reinstall.

Thanks!

I removed mine by taking the 10mm bolts out then giving the flap a god f*****g bat with a closed fist from back to front...the hell with the little plastic clips, you only use them once anyway!!!

Replace the bolts so you know where they are....and BTW what do you do to fill the 3 holes left!
