About to pull the trigger on a new front bumper. Really like the Allpro Standards and Apex's too, but i don't like the reviews i've seen on this forum about them, especially how Allpro doesn't tell you up front that you cannot use your factory skid plate and have to get an aftermarket one...to the tune of roughly $300 extra and the 3 piece design has me questioning strength on the Standard models. I really like the Relentless Fab ones too, but they seem to be back ordered and have some kind of broken metal bender that has halted productivity till mid-March. I really don't wanna wait 3-4 months to get a bumper if i pay over $1200 up front.....should I look elswhere?...thoughts are appreciated.

I like mine. They are a little tricky to get together and mount because their directions are not very good. I dont think they updated them after their bumper was redesigned. They are lighter than most one piece steel bumpers from what I understand. So far I really have no complaints. I really like MrGrimms pelfreybilt front bumper though, that thing looks so sick. Good luck

Did you buy a skid plate along with the bumper? Or is it at all possible to keep the factory one if you "modify" it?

I bought the full set of skids from AllPro. I don't think the stock works, you might be able to mod it but not sure. I got my AllPro stuff from Sarah at Boss 4x4, she has a 10% TW discount. If you get multiple things she might be able to hook you up more, just give her a call, awesome customer service!

Nice, free shipping is always a plus. I called Allpro and they offered a 10% TW discount, but i haven't committed yet. Thanks for the info.

I just edited my post. I did get free shipping, but I think it was a promotion at the time. It was an awesome deal for sure. I don't think it is an ongoing thing, but again its always worth a call to see what she could do.

You could get a relentless DIY bumper and have someone local weld it up for you. That has a lot shorter lead time.

I actually thought about doing this. I was going to call them on Monday and see what lead time is on the DIY bumper, that was kind of a last resort though.

I have noticed mine is bent up/dinged pretty bad. I noticed it the last time i did an oil change. Guess it really is just a splash guard. Call me tight, but im already looking at spending $1250-$1400 on the bumper, i kinda wished you at least get the front skid included for that price instead of spending another $300+....oh well, guess you gotta pay to play.

Yeah we have a long back log/wait for fab, but you get a quality piece if you can wait it out. ;) Plus we dont sit on all the $$, you can order with a 50% deposit. Might be doing a spring sale this month too, would have already posted one but the tube bender has me holding off currently..... our tube bender isnt broken, we just upgraded to a better one and the manufacturer is on the east coast which delayed their production and shipping by about 2 weeks on us due to weather:rolleyes:)

A Full-fab'ed bumper is definitely several months wait, a DIY is only a couple weeks to get out.

PM me or call the number listed on my website if you want to ask questions or place an order.
