I've searched the forum extensively for an answer. Is any one running the Fox 2.5 Coilovers set at a full 3" of lift? If so how do they ride?

It'll be stiff since you are preloading them a lot. Why do you want a full 3" of lift up front? To fit 285's you only need about 2.5"

Just because I want a close to level set up with the All Pro leafs I have. If I can clear without rubbing the frame I'll set them lower.

Yes you can do it but it'll be a stiffer ride. You'll clear the frame at 2.5". I don't have experience with them cranked up that high though.

I have the 2.5" w/ reserviors. I believe my drivers side is 2.75" high (might have settled a little more) and passenger right at 3", might adjust that 1 down to match. Other than the front cv vibrating from 30-45 mph and having to replace the bushing (on the way from ECGS as I write this). At least I hope that fixes the problem. I think it rides better than stock over the last 2-300 miles since install. My wife hasn't complained. I replaced the rear springs with dakars and am still waiting on a mix matched rear shock set. Got 1 new and 1 old. The rear definitely bucks over the bumps, night and day difference to the front.

Ohh yeahhh I forgot that your CV angles will be bad, you'll tear your boots real quick like I did and mine are set at 2.5"..

Your dakars will smooth out, honestly its taken mine about 3000 miles with some weight in the back to smooth out but they will, the ride was bad at first for me too

I've had my current lift set at 3" for 17k miles with no torn boots. I have however, started to hear binding from my drivers side which I'm guessing is an LBJ or tie rod. Not really a big deal, just means they are at their travel limit I suppose.

cv boot mod will prolong your cv's life alot. I'm running ~3 inches of lift maybe a touch more.. If you hear binding in the drivers side FloTaco I recommend checking to make sure your LCA's are torqued to the 100# spec as alligment shops tend to think snug is enough and then its common for people to hear binding (LCA bushing shifting around is the noise) especially when turning and backing up.
