Has anyone done this yet? I know it does not lift as much as many would want but I have a 2015 Access cab TRD Sport. I want to level it and keep rear stock mainly for looks and clear a size tire up. I plan on going with the TRD beadlock wheel that is a 16" and preffered. I might just do the Bilstein 5100's set at 1.75" as the truck will be always at stock weight in front. If it does ever go offroad it won't be anything crazy aggressive nor fast. Planning on Duratrac's in 265/75-15 so 31.7" basically. I know the trd lift only says its 1.75" over stock so I assume they keep the rear of the TRD PRO the same height as any other taco correct? Basically just the overkill rear shocks which I probably wouldn't want for road but curious if anyone with a TRD PRO could chime in on measurements or how it rides. Also if anyone has bought the kit. Price is a bit more than any other kit but we won't want to lift the truck much over 2" at all. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks

I haven't heard of anyone doing this with a Pro suspension yet. I would think it would be much less for aftermarket suspension and get better performance at the same time, but to be fair I don't know that toyota would charge to get the suspension components of a Pro model.

Ah interesting, but yeah at $1,600 I'd be looking elsewhere myself.

I was thinking about doing it. I just do not have the funds yet.
I have a TRD sport and I test drove the Pro. It rides significantly different

It would be hard for Toyota to argue any warranty claims.

From the looks of things, the new Bilsteins might be just as good for what you want (there is a thread going on them and I believe they have them out for the Taco's now). As for the rear, you do gain about an inch of droop travel with the Baja / Pro rear shock set up, the springs are factory TRD OR. Ride on the Pro is very nice (have yet to do any high speed desert stuff, but for normal driving I really like it.

the 5160's used in the rear of the "pro" have a 9.39in travel ... right at a half inch more than the stock TRD shocks.

When I bought my Baja kit it was priced around $1200. In time the price may come down some more. Or, you can also piece something together on your own for less. It's up to you.

My TRD Pro kit shipped today, I've had it on back-order since Dec. 04. I wanted to have the best ride possible, so went with the Pro kit. I see the 6112 & 5160 are basically the same components, however the Pro kit was valves and sprung specifically for the Tacoma, so I'm expecting it to be very quality and tuned. I also really like OEM equipment. I'll update once I get it installed!

The Bilstein 6112 is an improved version of the TRD Pro system, priced well under 1200 for the front and rear. It offers more performance oriented suspension tuning and additional height levels.

I got my kit on last week. I am very happy with the ride quality. My truck is a 2.7L so the stock suspension was really soft, and comfortable, although the rear springs had already gotten stressed and sagged badly. The ride with the PRO kit is slightly firmer, but not uncomfortable at all. I added an AirLift bag kit to the rear to raise it up even with the front, and prevent sagging when I haul firewood. It took 20psi to get it level, but the rear is a little too firm with the bags that high. I am thinking about a 1-2" block for the rear, and lower the pressure in the bags.

I did notice the PRO kit uses black-rubber coated hoses for the rear shock reservoirs vs. the exposed SSbraid tht I've seen on the Baja kits.
