It could be a blend door issue which changes the flow of cold & hot air.

About 10 years ago I had a 97 Tacoma with a similar problem after an accident. The body shop disconnected my ac lines when they put it on the frame rack to make sure everything was aligned. After many trips back to the body shop, it was found the cheap bastards didn't put o-rings back in the connectors & had a big leak there. Finally got it fixed.

If they pulled the AC condenser to replace the radiator, they may have forgot to recharge the freon. Another possibility is the ac fuse in the under hood fuse block next to the battery. Several times with my 2008 Taco, when I replaced the battery, my ac compressor would not kick on. I just replaced the fuse and everything worked great. BTW, the old fuses never looked burned, but the new fuses solved the issue. Don't know why.

thank you very much! i was thinking it was probably the freon as well since everything else seems to be working properly and i dont hear any weird noises when i start my a/c up it just doesnt blow cold air. however now that you mentioned it i will definitely check the fuses.

The accident that damaged the radiator also damaged the AC Condenser and you have lost the refrigerant. They are right up there together. The Compressor clutch is probably not engaging either due to the low refrigerant pressure.

Take it to a shop that does AC work and have them check the refrigerant charge.

I agree, I am an AC tech but not for cars, they all work the same. If you had damage to the radiator you must have had damage to the condenser. Go check it out
