GJ man great looking bumper. I love seeing how it all came together and how the pictures from start to finish took us through a little bit of your thought pattern when designing/fabbing your bumper. I'd love to be able to do this one day!!!

I like it, it's very unique. The one thing i would recommend is reinforcement brackets for the bumper mounting points. Most manufacturers included these with their bumpers. If they're not used, plate bumpers can cause the plate the studs are mounted to, to tear which could eventually allow the bumper to fall off.

Here is an example of what I mean.

Nice, I was thinking about coming off with another mount point further back on the rail. just haven't figured out how I wanted to do it and make it look good. Still tossing around ideas.

But a lot of the weight is supported by the skid plate as well, with the extra mount points on the bottom and to the Drop Bracket.

Did the final touches on the bumper today. I didnt like the gap between the body and bumper so I got some weatherproof flex Rubber from McMaster-Carr and filled the gap. Now It can flex with plenty of room and still look good!

very unique Design! i kind of almost like the bumper by itself without the skid plate. could be the DB making the angle flat, though. Still awesome design

Yeah I have a smaller(lighter) Skid one planned if I didn't like this wide one. But mostly wanted to cover stuff up and hide the DB(and add support). Also didn't have the huge designed cut out.... Boring. LOL

Not much at all. I can lift and install the bumper myself. The skid is a 2 man job, Not for weight but just large area and hard to start the bolts and lift at same time. Id say 80-100lbs. I didn't even notice any extra weight when driving or off roading.
