I'm opening this thread at the risk of making me look really stupid, so please bear with me...

I just purchased a 2015 Access Cab TRD OR, with the Entune Premium with Nav. However, on my way home, I noticed the sound wasn't very good. I've come to find that maybe I don't have the speaker setup I should have. The sticker indicates I should have 6 speakers, though I'm only able to locate 4 of them -- 2 tweeters, and 2 in the lower front portion of the front doors. I didn't focus a lot on the audio as I was looking at the truck in the purchasing process, so I don't know exactly what I should have. Did I get short-speakered?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Should be a speaker in each rear door in addition to the 4 fronts, for a total of 6, but not positive as I have a DC.

Most likely the 2 other speakers are in your headliner believe it or not. There not really speakers but that's what toyota calls them. Turn your system on and tune it to rear fade and listen closely, you'll hear them....

Well I'll be... I checked, and you're absolutely right. That's about the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I had to put my ear right up to the headliner to be able to hear them. I guess it's off to the car audio place to bring the audio up to a decent level of quality. Sheesh.

Yup, you might have those terrible speakers in the headliner.
I plan on putting some in the back doors and disconnecting the headliner ones, they are really bad.

I went to a stereo shop a few weeks ago just to get a price.
The guy couldn't understand why anyone would put speakers in the head liner.

What price were you given? Did it include an amp?
