Just found out that the reason I continue to have tire and alignment problems is because my left UCA bushing is totally trashed! I bought a set of LR UCA's about 3-4 years ago and it's already trashed! Really!?!? Is this what I should expect after spending $450 on uca's to help my alignment? Is there anyway to get in touch with LR? So, I replace the entire arm, just the bushing? Frustrating to drop $450 on uca to help my alignment only to have it screw it up and now having to spend more $ to fix it! Any advice? LR any help here?!?!:frusty:

SPC had a bad batch of bushings a while back. Give them a call and they'll send you out a new set of their improved design.

Here's my writeup on replacing the old bushings.

I have heard of people asking for a replacement set as well. See if they'll go that direction. That way they just send you out a new set of arms and you send in your old ones.

They really do have great customer service.

my drivers side uca likes to squeak loudly and requires retightening of the bolt once a year when it starts making noise, otherwise they seem to be fine and track straight, but its still annoying.

The UCA bolt is an OEM part , not part of the LR UCA

I emailed SPC. I'll make an update post when I hear back to see what they offer as a remedy. Fingers crossed

I'd suggest calling them. They actually answer the phone.

I just replaced my ball joints with warranty replacements from SPC. The swap took about 20 minutes, no pressing them out like other companies. I had one of the original batches of ball joints, that were proven to have issues.

    I gave up on SPC.
First the bushings were a “bad batch” which resulted in near catastrophic failure of the weld. But man they were great at SPC! Truck was only down a week while waiting for my free replacement and repairs! Sarcasm aside, I’m lucky no one died... In less than a year the driver side ball joint was loose and the truck could not be aligned. But SPC came through again with “upgraded” replacement ball joints. My front end mechanic showed me how the SPC ball joints are destined to fail due to excessive side loading that the offset puts on them.
I’m sorry but I just lost faith in a company that uses it’s customer base for their R&D source.
