Saturday I finally changed my gear oil in replacement for redline synthetic. Other than leaving a mark on the driveway, everything went pretty well. Went ahead and replaced the gaskets for the drain/fill plugs while I was at it. May do my t-case later this week, not sure.

ANYWAY, took it for a drive after I changed the oil, and man... it feels just great. No more clunks when changing gears, and no longer clunks in gear. Just feels much more "precise". My truck isn't a race car by no means with the 2TR, but I can shift it much faster now. Dunno if the previous owner never changed it before me or what, but it definitely wasn't this smooth before.

Anytime the initial "change" is made it always feels great, no matter the brand. Report back after a few thousand miles

Additionally, is MT90 the same weight as the OEM fluid?

I ordered it from Amazon, $17-18 per quart, it sure isn't cheap.

And also, it is the same weight, just like the original. 75w90, gl4.

My t-case calls for GL5, only bought a quart of it, calls for 1.1 quarts, so I'll throw a little extra I had from my trans in
