Don't know if this has been covered in another thread ?

Looking to replace my stock Dunlop tires(60K) . Not bad for a OEM tire.

I drive 90 % highway and in summer pull a 22' boat around town to ramp . And haul 2-4 tons of wood pellets in fall

at first I thought of Michelins but , NO BSW??? really didn't want to turn them inside , anyone know if they make a straight BW tire.

If there is another great tire , please let me know

My truck came stock with the Bridgestone Deuler H/Ts and I have been pretty happy with them. They have good traction in rain and snow and I plan on keeping them until they wear out

I took off the stock Brigdestone that came with my Sport at 7000 miles. I though they were absolutely horrific especially in bad weather. The rugged fails that I had on my 03 OR were much better and that are not good tires either. Currently I am running Terra Grapplers which are descent all around tires (99% highway use). I had the Michelin M/S on my 03 and they were amazing in everything but deep mud and deep snow. I was always amazed at the trails I could tackle with them being that they were a highway tire. My next tire will either be a Terra Grappler G2 or a M/S 2.

Ditto!! Mine came with some cheap ass Dunlop's, Dunlop does make some decent tires but whatever was on my Tacoma was not one of them, can't remember t/20 or something, I did run them for 20k but even now wish I hadn't. went with the Michelin M/S , a great tire!

That OEM was probably the Dunlop AT-20 Grand Trek. Same that my 2010 base Tacoma came with, and that i just replaced today at 4 years/64,000km's service life (approximately 40,000 miles).

There is actually still 1/2 to 1/3 tread on 3 of the 4. However, in pulling the tires out of the back of the truck and stacking them in the garage to use the rims to mount snows on.. those tires were DONE. Deep cracks adjacent to the tread blocks, traveling up into the shoulders. One had a hole in the sidewall where the surface rubber delaminated from the fabric/belt underneath.

    These OEM's wore very poorly.

GTA car kits iphone/aux adapter.

I'll second the Michelin ms2. Excellent highway tire. Mud not so much. Can't say to snow yet.

The Michelin ms2 is the best tire on the market if you don't do serious off roading. Don't look any farther, get them.

the cousin to MS2, the AT2, does a better job in snow and
mud but behaves in all other aspects like the MS2

    MS2's on 4runner, 3rd set at 220,000 miles
AT2's on trucky, first set, 30,000 miles

ive never run a highway tire on my truck so I wouldn't even know whats good.

I like the versatility of an All Terrain tire.

Even my lowered 98 Tacoma was on high performance sticky tires and not a high mileage highway tire.
