    Yes sir
Personally, I'd buy from wheelers offroad. Great customer service, Dan and Marie are unreal nice :D. I've only heard of some guys with bullet proof lifts and the price seemed a bit steep in my opinion for a recovery hook, but then again I've never looked around for one.

Also, feel free to call wheelers, like I said, they have great customer service and will help you out with any questions you have

Not the D rings. The actual recovery points attached to the truck.

I'm sure your D rings are fine. They should have a stamp on them stating the rating. Usually in tons. Like 4.2T.

I'm pretty sure BP is legit. But $120 for a chunk of metal? Seems a bit outrageous. AND I like the good shit. I bet somebody made a bet that we Tacoma junkies will buy anything for any amount and they made that tow hook to prove it.

Does your truck not have two factory recovery spots? A square plate on the passengers and a tubular hook on the drivers?

Legit. There's a thread on here somewhere regarding his skid plates, this shackle mount, and other stuff. I can't recall the username, but I've seen posts recently. Try searching that out... I've seen positive feedback on BP from other members as well.

BP Fab (Matt123) has been around awhile, haven't heard of anyone having issues ordering from there. I had one of their skid plates & recovery shackle mounts until I upgraded to a full plate bumper. Never tested the recovery mount under serious load, but feel pretty confident the 1/2 solid steel plate wouldn't be the point of failure during a difficult recovery. I would bet on the truck's frame failing first.

I'm not sure where that Blackworks Racing tow point would attach; probably have to drill/make a custom bracket of some kind.

The BP Fab one is made specifically for the Tacoma and bolts directly in using 3 existing frame bolts.

Also, it depends on what you want to use it for. The thin aluminum racing one might be ok for being towed around on pavement, but I can't imagine it holding up offroad.

He does list a "lite version" for only $70...
    http://www.bpfabricating.com/products/lite-verson-tacoma-tow-hook

I don't have much fabrication experience, but $120 for designing, cutting, bending, heat treating, welding and powder coating a heavy chunk of 1/2" thick steel doesn't sound totally unreasonable.
