I bought a 2012 tacoma used and it only came with one set of key and remote. The previous owner didnt want to give up the 2nd set to the dealer and still will not comply with the dealer 6 days later. I had to put in a code alarm security system, but the installer said that if the previous owner gets the door open with the code alarm blaring; if he can find the kill switch then he can override the alarm and drive off. How do I, and how much would it run, re ignition the ignition and code a totally different key to the code alarm system? Or is this possible and can just a locksmith do this or do I have to go to a dealer which wants 1000$?

See, the truck is totally loaded with after market products and I took it to firestone to see if they or the alarm installer could find a track device like Lo jack; but they both said they didnt see anything. Thats why Im so paranoid about maybe a tracker is on the truck; the previous owner reads it on the computer and can show up anywhere I go and wham! its gone.

And the police will know the first person to track down to find the truck and arrest his ass. Only a moron would try such a tactic.
