I am installing internal micro LED's to light the footwells and drink/storage area. I would like to hook the positive wire from the LEDs into a 12V+ that gets power when the lights are turned on (parking or headlights).

Can anyone tell me the closest location around the drivers area to pick up this wire. Any description of it would be great (i.e. "it is the green wire with a red stripe behind the hazard lights, etc."!

    I'll post pictures once completed.

    Thanks in advance.

    getting there....

    welcome to tw!!

it may be easier for you to get an add-a-curcuit and install it in the fuse box in the cab and run the wire to that. alot less wire to run for you.

There are. You can probably find them at any auto parts store where the fuses are located. I got some from Pep Boys.
