Where is tranny oil?

On my '07 manual, I am looking for the transmission drain and fill. Can anyone help?

Yes. Don't.

It's a sealed tranny and needs to go to a mechanic to be filled. Draining's the easy part. But filling...

It is not too hard to change the transmission fluid on an 05 standard as I have done it. If your 07 tranny is anything like the 6 spds then they are there the fill is on the driver side in an odd spot just have to look real good.

From what I remember doing my 6spd over 2yrs ago (think same for your 5spd)... 24mm socket. Crawl under tranny, drain bolt on underside, fill bolt facing drivers side. Loosen FILL BOLT first. On the Quart bottles, I used a hand pump w/ a hose ext. Was a little tight in there, but if you got it lifted up, gives you better access.

Here is a diagram for the R155F (5 speed 4x4 manual trans.)

When you fill the transmission up with oil again, fill it to where the oil is just a hair under the fill plug. The manual calls for 0-5mm from the drain plug.

The automatics are sealed, while the manual trasmissions are not.

If that's the case then I apologize. I've been pretty tense as of late. My exboss is screening my calls and essentially refusing to give me my last paycheque.

At my last job, I got my last ckeck about a week after I stopped working. Then about two weeks later, got another check.

I didn't complain.

Anyways, back on topic:

Good luck changing your fluids.
