Greetings. I have an 2009 tacoma and am trying to figure out if it has satellite radio installed - just not activated. I would say no it doesn't but when I installed my iPod adapter, there was already a plug in the back of the radio where the Satellite plug goes. That and it has an Satellite radio antenna.

Can any one shed any light on this?

    Thanks everyone.

follow the cable on the antenna, and see where you end up maybe? I'm guessing the cable end is behind the glovebox or under the steering wheel and the prev owner was too lazy to take it out when he took his sirius out.

    Too few to list.
Underneath the pedals, find out if there's a bunch of green wires all connected to plug wrapped in white tape. Someone told me its related to the XM.

I was led to believe Toyota sells some trucks with XM capability at a future date...which means the faceplates are the same, just the XM radio is missing.

That's what I was told, anyway.

The dealer has to add the xm Module to make it work. All Tacoma trucks have the ant.
