Well, just as I was about to purchase a Tacoma i find out that by 2016 that our fuel emissions standards will be much higher.

    So...my question is:

Should I even bother driving my truck for 7 years (which I planned to drive for much longer than that anyways)...because when I eventually go to trade it in I could wind up getting NOTHING for it since it will average approximately 20 mpg?????

I really dont want to be stuck getting another Honda Civic...not that I hate mine...just wanted a truck is all.

    Crap.

dont trade it in, taco's rock run it til you cant go any further. gives you more time to save up for the next car you will get and in 8 years possible 4 he will be gone so that all could change... haha

Id love to get this truck but the prospect of getting close to nothing at all at trade in time for my shiny new 2016 Honda Sun Runner is a little disheartening.
