I've been reading with interest the threads involving the yellow load reduction stickers found on some 2009 trucks and the leaf spring issue with the trucks bottoming out with moderate loads.

The "Rear Spring Harsh Ride" TSB involving spring replacement for 05 to 08 PreRunner and 4X4 trucks has been hit or miss for alot of owners. In particular are the exclusion of 09 trucks.

My newly purchased truck with a build date of 6/12/08 (2009 model year) appears to have the infamous 3 leaf spring (right side part #48229 - 04190 G LH), along with the yellow load reduction sticker (minus 290 lbs.).

Do you thing the yellow sticker and the leaf spring issues are related?

Is this the way Toyota plans on not replacing the 2009 truck springs?

    What are your thoughts...
