READY-LIFT Leveling kit question...

Anyone have any experience with this kit http://www.readylift.com/c-83-tacoma-2005-2009-4wd-2wd-prerunner-225.aspx? I was thinking about this 1.25in spidertrax spacers and 265/75 r16 BFG AT's to get a level look on my 08 4x4 access cab. Any comments or suggestions?

I know some people here have had spacers and then taken them off due to ride quality. Plus you can get less expensive ones from Toytec.

 

you only need to look at the "similar threads" feature at the bottom of the page to see what other ppl think. imo, even if they "guarantee" factory quality ride, you'll find those who had kits like this complain of the harshness and crappy ride quality. search for bilstein 5100s and/or toytec coilovers for better riding options

 

I got the same level lift, but Pro Comp 2.25" level lift and the spidertrax too, thou I use the 265/70-16 for daily driver.

When I installed it, the truck was level with the TSB leaf pack, but I added a TSB AAL from Toytec and is not level anymore.

Been a few months now and no problems so far.

Side note, I had the opportunity to see and compare both Pro Comp and Ready Lift side by side and Pro Comp powder coat is thicker and have more wider and longer welds than the Ready Lift, both have the same specs aside from the welds and powder coating.

 

Yeah i think im gonna go with 5100's, thanks guys...

 

^^ Ride is the same since no pre-load is applied to the spring, the only diference I felt was I was riding a little higher than before.
