    First couple of trys didn't take, but holding the button in for 30+ seconds did the trick.

    its very helpful if you even wear your seatbelt and you can turn it back on if you want

    I did this on my 09 and got the b-off but it still chimes when i first start the truck. That's what i was hoping to stop. i wear my belt but want to fasten it in my own sweet time.

    You can't turn off the chime at startup. This is more for those who don't wear their seatbelts or they cary stuff in the passenger seat.

    My 05 doesn't have the constant annoying reminder but my girl owns a Yaris and it does...I seriously wanna take out my shotgun and blow a fuckin' hole through the console when its going off!!! LOL

    Yeah, I thought it wasn't as bad as I thought it was after I took it off. Then I went to move my moms Lexus and about 20 sec. of dinging I was about to punch it . lol

    I just got my 09 Taco about a week ago. The first thing I hated was the constant seat belt chime!! I read in the manual you could take in to have the chime disabled, but found this post and did it myself.
