Why does that front end look higher then a normal 3" lift? I have a Revtek 3" spacer in the front and that setup looks at least 2 inches taller..

It is pretty level, in the picture the truck is on my driveway that is slightly sloped. The coilovers are set at just over 3 inches too, I don't think it is 2 inches higher than yours, a 1/2" tops.

What type of coilovers do you have? That would prob help on my tire rubbing issues with an extra 1/2 inch lift. I like your setup but I like my rear end to sit a little higher so when I load up the bed and hook up to my tailer im leveled out drivin down the road. Nice truck.

I have the coilovers from Toytec, i got the ultimate kit. I agree 100% about you opinion about the rear. I am going to order a 1" block, I want to find one with a 3 degree angle so I don't have to have the shim and a block.

My coilovers have the silver Eibach 600lb springs. They normally come with red springs (I don't know if they are Eibachs or not) and when I ordered them, they called me and told me they were out of red but had had silver. I didn't mind since my truck is grey and they shipped the day they called.

m_yota...The tires are 265/75/17s w/17x9 MM 951s. I had to trim the front inner fender to avoid rubbing at full turn even with the 2.25 C/O lift.

The guy who installed my lift did not mention anything about axle shims when I told him about the vibration instead he told me to bring it back the next day and he installed a carrier bearing spacer that dropped the carrier bearing down so that vibration is minimal. He didn't charge me anything. I think you have inspired me to get coilovers.

Lowering the carrier bearing and axle shims accomplish the same thing, it reduces the driveshaft angle. Since we increased the angle when we lifted our trucks, the spacer or shim just reduces that angle. He might have just used washers or something, that is easier than installing the angled shims between the axle and leaf spring.

The coilovers are nice, depending on what type of driving you do, just look into it and see what fits your style the best.

m_yota...I had to do very minor trimming. Just about as much as everyones else did. The lift has been on the truck for over a year. Just installed the wheels and tires last friday. No rubbing at all after I trimmed.

These scrub just a little when backing up and the wheel turned hard one way or the other, never hear them scrub while going forward. Just scrubing on the black plastic hanging down in front of the tire

I thought there was/is a member here with a 6" lift and a 3" body lift with 35's? I think the truck was blue AC or DC and may belong to a chick (no offense :p) It's a bad ass looking truck.

Anyway here is my small fry 265/75/16's on 16x8 wheels with 4.0" BS, 3" front 1.5" rear lift.
