Finished My Tinted Tails What Do you Think?

And i debaged it and painted all the badges, but i ended up only putting the TACOMA on the back in the middle.. I think it looks good? It like the old-school tacomas.

damn they are dark i like em but they are dark probablly get a ticket it for them around here

what did you tint the lights with? night shades? or did you find somethin else? and i painted my tacoma badge and put it above the tailgate handle then somebody stole it.

haha didnt think about that one.. haha its only around 2 coats of night shades too! Oh well whatever happens happens.. We will see how long it lasts before i get a ticket and they are up for trade on here. haha

I used NightShades then clear coat wet sanded it again and then used wax and a buffer and buffed it out... Seriously someone stole it? That sucks i have like 3 Tacomas so if someone does steal it i have extras. What did you use to stick the Tacoma on you truck? 3M Heavy Duty Double Sided Tape?

no it was some badge glue that i got from auto zone... i painted the other one black and put it on the dash over the air bag cover.. but the one on the tail gate disappeared while i was in walmart one day it sucked.. i want to get some second gen badges and paint black to put on there

HAHAH IM HOPING I DONT TOO!!
Umm idk the brake lights and running lights are easy to see because i used the nightshades, so i dont think i will have any problems.

well, considering people need to SEE your brake lights in order to keep from plowing into you...dumb.

It's bad enough you got idiots out there yakin or texting on cell phones, add in the fact that you can't see your brake lights very well...it's just a matter of time before some dork rearranges the back of your truck. .02

Let me add, I like the LOOK, but I won't sacrifice my truck or safety for the sake of "looks".

Mine are not even close to that dark. They are just a shade darker than smoked but I agree with you on the cell phones and texting. SCARRYYY!!

Yeah i was worried when i first finished them too, but at night you can see the lights fine.... plus i also have my 3rd light, i didnt do anything to that so it still stands out... We will see what happens.

And i total agree with you all about the cell phones and everything i didnt want them that dark but owell whats done is done. I hace passed like 2 or 3 cops and havent been pulled over yet, they are pretty relaxed out here.
