Ok...I loved how everyone helped me out with the tire pressure light so I'm going to try this. My upper console light went out that displays the temp/compass/direction. I know you can go through the sunglass holder and take that screw out. I'm a girl and have no idea how to do sophisticated electrical work. I can solder wires so that isn't a problem but I'm not sure how to check wires or what to do after I unscrew the screw from the sunglasses holder. 2nd grade directions would be lovely if anyone wouldn't mind and has had this problem:) Or...could it just be a bad bulb? Much obliged!

be careful removing the console. There are two clips that hold the front of the console up after you remove that screw. If you pull straight down, you don't have to worry about breaking them. When I pulled mine down, I broke off the clips and now my console has some self tapping screws holding it up.

 Yes take the one screw out and check for the two silver clips
that help hold the console in place. If in doubt go to a body shop
and have a tech show you. Good luck.
